Dear Reader,
When we think of the Gulf of Mexico nowadays, we are under the impression that the whole region is affected by the oil spill. That is true.
One of the effects of the reports we have seen so far is the impression we have that the whole region is ankle-deep in oil (bis zu den Knöcheln in Öl). That is not quite true.
As it turns out, the oil has not reached the Mississippi coast, a popular tourist region. As you watch the attached video, watch the state governor, Haley Barbour, and write down some personal characteristics. Afterwards, write a description of the man. How would you describe him?
