Beispiele:

  • We now live in a world where technology has made it possible for companies to take their business elsewhere. If we want them to start here and stay here and hire here, we have to be able to out-build, out-educate, and out-innovate every other country on earth. (Barak Obama, 2011)
  • What three things are important when you start a business? Advertising, advertising and advertising!
  • Consumer watchdog groups assume that there may be a large gap between the public’s best interest (product choice, quality and value) and a corporation’s best interest (profit, profit and profit).

Wiederholung von Wortmustern
Auch hier funktioniert die 3er-Regel.

Beispiele:

  • I am asking you, begging you, pleading with you, to say yes.
  • Let us pledge that we will never misuse unemployment, high interest rates, and human misery as false weapons against inflation.
  • Let us pledge that employment will be the first priority of our economic policy.
  • Let us pledge that there will be security for all those who are now at work, and let us pledge that there will be jobs for all who are out of work.    (Edward Kennedy, 1980)
  • Pass this jobs bill and companies will get a $4,000 tax credit if they hire anyone who spent more than six months looking for a job…pass this jobs bill and the typical working family will get a fifteen hundred dollar tax cut next year. (Barak Obama, 2011)
  • We are hoping for an increase in profits this year and we are hoping to increase them steadily.
  • We have seen this in China, we have seen this in Japan and we have seen this in Indonesia.
  • We were there last year, we are there this year and we will be there next year.
  • We hope to complete this course soon, we intend to learn a lot, and we want to get a good job when we’re through.

Beispiele:

  • Ten years ago we were just a small family business. Today we’re a huge multinational. Who knows where we’ll be tomorrow?
  • At a time when the market is flooded with cheap imitations, everyone knows we still represent quality products and services.
  • While our competitors are making futile attempts to penetrate new markets, we have successfully been consolidating our European sales network.
